For over three decades, Nick Castano has been a cornerstone of the KleenRite family. Originally from Columbia, Nick moved to the United States in 1992 and joined the Paixao family’s team the same year. As KleenRite Services celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2026, Nick reflects on a career defined by consistency, leadership and the evolution of a family legacy.

Nick’s story is a true reflection of hard work and dedication. Starting in an entry-level position in December 1992, he has spent the last 34 years growing alongside the company. Today, he manages numerous employees – a leadership role and achievement he is proud of. 

One of his most memorable experiences with the company has been the work he’s done at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC), a project he looks back on with great pride. 

Nick has had a front-row seat to see the next generation of Paixao’s take the lead.
“Working with the Paixao family is a great experience,” he said. “It’s been smooth and easy for everyone, since I’ve known Jonathan for many years, he is a great human being and great leader.” 

With over three decades of experience, Nick knows exactly what it takes to build a lasting successful career. His advice is simple, but powerful. Be consistent, be honest, and do your job well. 

As KleenRite looks towards the future and celebrates the 70th anniversary milestone, Nick remains committed to the company.
