Richard Paixao, Owner
You could say Rick grew up in the family business, which was founded by his father in 1956. Growing up, he often spent weekends and school breaks helping out the family business, learning the value of hard work and dedication.
In 1983, after earning his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley University, Rick joined the family business full time, then took the helm in 1991, joined by his wife Debbie. Over the ensuing decades, they continued building on the company’s established foundation, expanding into Berkshire and Worcester counties and expanding their workforce. Under Rick’s leadership, the company grew from 12 employees to more than 70 today.
Fast forward 40 years: Rick and Debbie are joined by their children, Jonathan and Lindsay, marking the third generation to enter the business.
Jonathan Paixao, Operations Manager
Like his father, Jon grew up in the family business, working nights and weekends beginning at age 15, and learning the business from the ground up.
While attending Sacred Heart University earning his degree in Accounting and Business Management, Jon continued to spend school breaks working at KleenRite. After graduating in 2019, he gained experience in other industries before coming onboard as a full-time employee in the family business in 2022.
Now, Jonathan has his hands in all things KleenRite. He is responsible for the oversight of all our staff to ensure we meet and exceed the expectations of our contractual obligations and customer needs, while also expanding his role as part of the succession plan to take the business into the future as we prepare to celebrate our 70th anniversary.
